Variable winds of 5 to 10 knots develop this evening, persisting into Tuesday morning, as a ridge tracks over the Bay from the west. 10 to 20 knot southwesterlies develop Tuesday night, persisting into Wednesday morning as a low to the north swings a trough over the Island. Winds diminish to 10 to 15 knots Wednesday evening behind the trough. Good visibility through Tuesday evening falls to fair Wednesday morning. Visibility improves to good Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures near plus 4 this evening rise to a high of plus 7 Tuesday afternoon, falling to plus 5 Wednesday morning. High of plus 8 Wednesday afternoon.

Please be advised that wave data for SmartBay buoy SMB-MO-05, at Come By Chance Point, will be unavailable until further notice. After experiencing problems over the last month and several attempts to rectify the problem in the field, we have removed the wave sensor for repair.
