You will need to allow “pop-ups” to see some of our content. Many Internet browser applications, like Microsoft Internet Explorer, block “pop-ups” automatically so you may have to specifically enable “pop-ups” on your system. Your system should advise you automatically when you need to do this.

We have strived to avoid the requirement for you to need additional software besides your normal web browser to use SmartBay.ca. However, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Flash Media Player. Both are free and in wide-spread use these days and most users will already have both installed. Because our site features many maps and other high-content pages we strongly recommend that you optimize the available screen-space in your browser. Maximize your main SmartBay window and ensure that you are not displaying any unnecessary toolbars in your browser. We have found that many of today’s Internet applications have an annoying trait of adding unwanted toolbars to our systems. These can be turned off (or deleted). For example, with Internet Explorer you can turn off un-wanted toolbars under the Main Menu item: View > Toolbars >
